Not too bad for a first effort!
Been a while
Some time has now passed and i hae been rather lazy with the frequent updating of my website but i am now back and ready to share my work with everyone. Enjoy!
Welcome
I’ve never had a blog before let alone a website, never seen the point really. Until I started model making and painting again I found that i wanted a means in which to record my work. Photographs are a good medium for recording work but do not have a narrative to back them up and as my work is completed in stages each piece has story to tell, whether it be because of the materials used; Fimo, Sculpy, Milliput, glue, acrylic, or because it shows my train of thought and processes of experimentation.
A blog, or website, I have recently discovered is my solution to telling my story, and that of my models. Not only is it a means of recording the stages of my work but a goal. For me goals are important and I need to work to a timescale and a deadline in order to get things done otherwise they lie unfinished and fall into the obis of unfinished projects that I have accumulated over the years. My hope, my goal, is that my projects will now be finished and I will have a compiled evidence of the work to show to myself, and others.
